there's the wind, and the rain and the mercy of the fallen

So, only a few weeks late, I am indeed done with my semester. And lo! I have not deleted myself from the internet! \o/

We're not really sure what we're going to do with this blog, yet, but we are thinking about the fact that we are two people, living across the country from each other, in what might as well be two different worlds for the local culture differences, yet we are both connected. (We are Facebook married, after all! ;D) With that in mind, we'll probably start with little slice-of-life posts.

I don't have much to say right this moment because I've spent the day lounging in bed, recovering from a cold and watching movies (Charlie Bartlett! Rent it!), but tomorrow is a new week -- a week in which my first summer class begins, I start my 20-hours-a-week internship at the local newspaper, and on Friday I'm flying out to Austin to see said Facebook wife, plus three other friends. Should be eventful!

I won't tell you how I came up with this blog url (HINT: IT'S SHAMEFUL), but rest assured it was only because I couldn't think of anything better. Let this set the tone for the rest of the posts that will hopefully come of this joint venture -- as soon as G's semester is finished. Also: assuming she doesn't delete herself from the internet.
